Hewitt Family Youth Service Award

Scott Hewitt (left) presented the Hewitt Family Youth Service Award to John Schumacher at the Rotary Awards and Installation banquet June 20. Scott noted Schumacher was his high school football coach and made a difference in his life. The Hewitt Family Foundation donated $1,000 to Schumacher to contribute to the charity of his choosing. John asked to donate the gift to the Park Rapids Education and Activities Foundation in the name of Mark and Peg Hewitt and acknowledged Mark Hewitt’s role in establishing the foundation.
