As we are heading into spring/summer - it's time for the annual Fireworks Fundraising activity to begin! This year we are integrating the FUN into fundraising! There are many opportunities to help out our community through your participation, contributions (of time and dollars) and promotion!Part of the fun is connecting with the community and really sharing our Park Rapids Rotary Story and the impact we have in the community. This year we have great ways to make those connections - through awareness, education and invitations to attend our weekly meetings, and special events.
Fireworks Fundraising is happening through several different approaches:
- Ask for money directly!
- Previous donors will get a contribution letter in the mail
- in addition, this year we are targeting 3 parts of our community with direct mail
- Pizza Hut is partnering with Rotary on June 3 & 17th -- Rotary receives 20% of all products ordered thru Pizza Hut on those 2 days
- Commemorative T-shirts will be available at various locations for a $25 contribution to the PR Rotary Foundation/Fireworks fund (special thanks to Camp 71 for making this a viable fundraiser and providing shirts at cost, and their services donated)
- Table top tent QR code for restaurants, businesses, etc who will permit it - starting June 27
- Radio spots on Coffee Time / De La Hunt media
- Promotional article in the PR Enterprise
- Rotary Booth at Summer Sip Off 5/17
- Rotary Booth at Farmer's Market in June [7. 14. 21. & 28]
- Rotary Booth at 2nd St Stage in June 19, 26th and July 3rd
The Rotary Booths -- are really a public relations opportunity to promote our Club and everything we do! YOU are invited as Rotarians to participate at one of these activities --- include your family and make it a 'Service above Self' kind of time!
