Emma Fertin, Inbound Exchange Student, and Park Rapids Rotary Club President Scott Hewitt exchanged club banners following Emma’s first presentation to the club Sept. 12. Emma arrived Aug. 20 and is hosted by the Matt and Sarah Kaufenberg family. She is sponsored by Rotary 1740 of Thiers, France. Her home town is Trezioux in the eastern part of the country. She is studying with the junior class at Park Rapids Area High School. Her interests include drawing, photography, skiing (downhill and cross-county) and skateboarding.
