Rotary Club receives District recognition

The Park Rapids Rotary Club was recognized Wednesday, Nov. 18 with an award banner for members’ contributions to the Rotary International Foundation. The presentation included (from left) Club Foundation Chair David Collins, Past President Ed Ranson, District Governor Craig Loughery from Ely and President John Rasmussen. The Every Rotarian Every Year award represents average per capita giving of more than $100 an average of $154.67 per member. Loughery said Park Rapids is the only club in District 5580 to receive this honor. It is the second consecutive year the club has earned the Every Rotarian Every Year award.
